I had finally devised a way to make Othello give me back my job as his lieutenant. I decided that I would contact his wife, Desdemona, and ask her if she could talk to Othello about giving me an audience. At high noon, I met Desdemona at the gardens and asked if she would help me with my plan. She happily agreed and pledged that she would do everything in her power to grant me an audience with Othello.
