I was summoned by the Duke of Venice to fetch Othello. I did not understand why he did not have someone else do it. At the council chamber, we were called in for a meeting by the Duke. But instead of the meeting taking place, we listened as Barbanito chastised Othello for stealing his daughter. Finally, Barbanito stopped yelling at Othello and we continued with our meeting. At the meeting, the Duke instructed Othello and I to go to Cyprus to defend it from the invading Turkish forces. After the Duke of Venice ended the meeting, I went home and prepared for my trip to Cyprus. I wondered how long I was going to stay there and what adventures I would find?
